Terms of Service

By using Reqflow (the “service”, accessible at getreqflow.com), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions: support@getreqflow.com.

What Reqflow is

Reqflow is an interactive system design learning tool. It provides reference architectures, simulations, quizzes, and AI-assisted explanations. It is intended for educational purposes.

What Reqflow is not

• It is not professional engineering advice. Architectures shown are simplified for teaching.
• It is not a substitute for designing your own systems based on your specific requirements.
• It is not guaranteed to be accurate, up-to-date, or fit for any particular purpose.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You're responsible for the security of your account. Don't share credentials.
• One person, one account. No bots, no automation, no scripted account creation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically download the content beyond normal use.
• Abuse the AI Explain feature (e.g. automated scripts, prompt injection attacks, attempts to extract our system prompt). We rate-limit AI calls and reserve the right to terminate accounts that abuse the system.
• Interfere with the service's operation, attempt to overload our infrastructure, or perform security testing without prior written permission.
• Use the service to train competing AI models or to assemble a dataset for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

Content you create

If you use the Builder to create your own architecture diagrams:

• You retain ownership of what you create.
• You grant us a non-exclusive license to display your design if you publicly share it (via the share link feature). We won't claim authorship.
• If you embed Reqflow on your site, you may not modify the embed to misrepresent the service or strip the attribution link.

Our content

The systems, concepts, quizzes, written content, and underlying source code of Reqflow are our property. You may:

• View them for personal, educational use.
• Reference or quote brief excerpts with attribution and a link back.
• Embed individual system viewers via the embed feature.

You may not:

• Republish substantial portions of the written content elsewhere.
• Use the content in a commercial product (e.g. a paid course) without permission.

AI Explain disclaimer

The AI Explain feature uses third-party language models (currently OpenAI). Generated answers may be inaccurate, outdated, or misleading. Do not rely on AI Explain output for production engineering decisions. Verify against authoritative sources.

Service availability

The service is provided “as is.” We make no guarantee of uptime, availability, or fitness for purpose. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

Pricing

The service is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid tiers in the future; any such changes will be announced in advance and existing accounts will retain access to features available at the time of signup for a reasonable transition period.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, particularly the “Acceptable use” section.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reqflow and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Material changes will be communicated to signed-in users by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the service operator resides. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
